License Agreement

This License Agreement ("License") governs your use of the VelocityKitsource code, documentation, and related materials ("the Product"). By purchasing or using VelocityKit, you agree to these terms.

1. Grant of License

Upon purchase, VelocityKit grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Product subject to these terms. The Product is licensed, not sold; we retain all intellectual property rights.

2. Permitted Uses

Under this License you may: build and deploy unlimited commercial SaaS/web applications for yourself or clients; modify and extend the source code; use it for client work (the end products belong to you or your clients); deploy to any hosting; and use any third-party integrations you choose.

3. Prohibited Uses

Under this License you may not:

• Share, distribute, or publish the VelocityKit source code (modified or not), upload it to public repositories, or include it in open-source projects
• Share your download access or account credentials
• Sell, resell, lease, rent, or sublicense the Product or derivative works, or bundle the source code with other products for sale
• Create or distribute a competing starter kit, boilerplate, or template, or offer development services whose primary deliverable is the VelocityKit codebase itself

4. Team Usage

Each license is for a single individual or organization. Each team member who needs source-code access must have their own license, or your organization must purchase a team license. Contractors may access the code, but the license holder is responsible for compliance. You may freely share the deployed, compiled application — the restriction is on sharing the source code.

5. Updates and Versions

Your purchase includes updates for 12 months. You may download any version released during your update period and keep perpetual rights to versions you've downloaded. Future updates beyond the period require an extension.

6. Your Products

The products you create with VelocityKit belong entirely to you. We claim no rights over your application code, user data, branding, content, or revenue.

7. Third-Party Components

VelocityKit includes open-source dependencies (React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, etc.) that retain their original licenses; your use of them is subject to those licenses.

8. No Warranty & Liability

THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. You are responsible for testing and validating the code before production. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELOCITYKIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT; our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

9. License Violations

If you violate this License, it terminates automatically and you must stop using the Product; we may pursue legal remedies. Report suspected violations (including unauthorized redistribution) to support@velocitykit.dev.

10. Changes & Governing Law

We may update this License; changes do not affect licenses already granted — your terms are locked at the time of purchase. This License is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VelocityKit operates, and disputes are resolved per our Terms of Service.
